Grasslands Late Summer Rifle League

Join the DIVA WOW Grasslands ladies for six fun-filled weeks of RIFLE league.
We meet at the air conditioned, well lit, Lone Star shooting range in Weatherford on Thursday nights at 6:00 pm, for six consecutive weeks, followed by an awards party on week 7.
We shoot 10 practice rounds, and 20 scored rounds per night at 50 feet. Any model .22lr rifles are allowed with or without scopes. Bring a mat or something to lay on as we will be shooting in the prone position (on your stomach) throughout the entire 6 weeks. Elbow pads, a yoga or shooting mat, and ammo is all that is required. If you don’t have a gun, we have plenty you can borrow, so don’t let that deter you!
We are competing in the NRA Rimfire rifle qualification course, which allows each woman to improve her marksmanship and earn awards on her own merit. You will earn patches and awards throughout each level and improve at your own pace. Beginners and experienced shooters are all welcome! Even if you don’t have a gun, we can provide one for you, but let us know so we have plenty available. Just come and learn more about safe shooting, rifles, marksmanship, and enjoy the fun and laughter of women who enjoy shooting!
After league, we all gather at Applebee’s for food, fun and even more merriment so if your schedule allows, be sure to include some additional time! It’s great fun hanging with other women with similar interests!

DIVA Members: $60
Non-Members: $75
All range fees and targets are included in the costs and covers the entire 6 weeks.
Ammo not included.
NRA Certified Instructors and Range Officers on site and are part of the league.
